Owned by Mezzecrete, Agricola Neci is an organic farm located in the heart of the Tuscan Crete Senesi, South East of Siena.
The property covers 642 acres of cultivations, forests and olive groves along the Ombrone river. Historically committed to farming cereals,
sunflowers and legumes, the company entered the premium olive oil business in 2004 by planting 19 acres of olive trees. Trees were selected
in line with the standards required by the "Terre di Siena" P.D.O Consortium, which aims to safeguard extra virgin olive oil made in the area
of Siena from counterfeit Tuscan oil.
Today Olio Nece is Mezzecrete's high end product as well as the company’s pride after being constantly included in the world's most important guidebooks for olive oil as well as being granted top awards in olive oil contests internationally.
